7-8 film or weights with the team
8:45- 2:00 teach5 classes of World History
2-3 prepare for practice (gather equipment, practice schedules, set up cameras to film
practice)
3:15-6:00 practice
7:15-9:00 Open House
TUESDAY
7:30 get to school and prepare for the day
8:45-2 teach 5 classes of World History
2-3 prepare for practice (gather equipment, practice schedules, set up cameras to film
practice)
3:15-6:00 practice
6:00-7:30 locker room duty and launder 70 stinky football players' jerseys, pants, socks,
unmentionables
WEDNESDAY
7:30 get to school and prepare for the day
8:45-2 teach 5 classes of World History
2-3 prepare for practice (gather equipment, practice schedules, set up cameras to film
practice)
3:15-6:00 practice
6:00-7:00 watch film from the day's practice
THURSDAY
7:30 get to school and prepare for the day
8:45-2 teach 5 classes of World History
2-3 prepare for practice (gather equipment, practice schedules, set up cameras to film
practice)
3:15-4:30 walk through practice
4:30-9:00 JV games
FRIDAY
7:00 get donuts for meeting with players
7:30-8:00 FCA
8:00-8:30 meeting with players
8:45-2 teach 5 classes of World History
2-3 prepare for game (get video and game equipment ready, finalize game plan)
3:15-5:30 feed players, eat dinner, rest, send players to leave for game
6:00-7:30 on the field warm ups
7:30-10:00 beat the LIONS!
10:30-1am ride the bus back to school, start in putting game film from tonight/opponent
trade film for next week's game
1:00 drive a junior high coach to his house 30 minutes away because his car broke
down
1:30 finally home!
SATURDAY
7:00-9:30 get to school, watch and grade game film from Friday night
9:30-12:00 meet with players to watch film
12:00-4:00 go over opponent game film for next week's game
4:00 come home and crash on the couch while the kids crawl all over him
6:30 shower and dress for date night- yeah :) (this is unusual for us, a typical week
has us eating dinner at home, family walk around the neighborhood, and Keri
and Nat crashing on the couch after the kids go to bed)
Now that's a hard working man!

Great post!! They do work hard! So nice for you to appreciate it!! You are such a great wife and mother! I know he is so glad you are at home with the kids while he is working so hard away from them. One less thing he has to worry abou!!

clearly this man loves his family and the ones to whom God has called him outside the family.... how many lives Coaches touch! and a good marriage for those young ones to see! bless you all bunches!
and a REALLY hard working mom to take care of all the kids, house stuff, etc while her hubby is working hard.
Wow! That's a hard schedule. I'm exhausted just reading it.
