Ashley responded "you just wait, you'll get yours!". So we waited. Wednesday night was a crazy evening. I had a meeting at church and by the time I got home with the kids they were both grumpy, tired, and hungry. Keri got finished early and was home by 7 with some dinner for us. I bathed, fed, and laid Doak down and went to have a talk with Addie (who was having a meltdown). I came out of Addie's room and could not find Keri anywhere. So I looked out the back door to see if he ran to his car and I was greeted by this:
I went back inside and found Keri trying to rock Doak to sleep. (He had suddenly decided he wasn't tired.) The whole family went out to look at the car and just as we stepped out the back door we saw Ashley running around the corner with more signs and tape. She was shocked to see us and ran as fast as she could a few houses down where Cody and Rylan waited with the get-away car. Those little stinkers. They got us good. Even though they trashed our car we let them come in, let the kids play, and even gave Cody dinner. Cause we're nice like that!
So, we're currently losing the war. (But I think we'll win the battle Friday night!)
Love you Salyers!
