I rarely get out my real camera these days. But when I pulled it out on Halloween afternoon there seemed to be perfect lighting and cooperative, cute, happy kids. Remind me to get my camera out more often!

As a mom of two, it was always a challenge to get a good picture with both Addie and Doak smiling and looking at the camera. As of mom of three, the perfect picture is even more elusive!

Sometimes the perfect picture isn't the one with 3 smiling faces looking at the camera it's the one picture that perfectly captures the love between these siblings!

I have a feeling these two are going to be the best of friends.



Doak loves being with Brock and he can always get Brock smiling.



I love my boys!

growing fast!

Brock is growing so fast! I can't believe he's almost one month old. His last time on the scale Brock weighed 7lbs 7.5oz (at 23 days old). So he's gained over a pound since birth and growing strong!


Brock is definitely loved-the big kids are so precious to him-they will even wipe up spit up-now that's love!


This day when the big kids woke up Brock was hanging out on his quilt on the floor and I was in the kitchen working on something. Addie and Doak came in the kitchen and immediately said, "where's Brock?" Then they ran to tell him good morning and join him on the quilt. Doak especially loves to do tummy time with Brock and hang out with him on the floor.



In the past few weeks Brock has had a yucky eye infection that left his eyes crusty-so its fun to see his beautiful eyes now that it's cleared up. They are dark blue/gray and so pretty!


He loves to hang out on the floor and look around him.


Some of Brock's initial blood work from his newborn screening came back abnormal. We've spent some time at the pediatrician's office and at the lab having blood drawn from little man's teeny tiny veins. All his latest tests report that all levels are normal. We are so thankful for our healthy baby boy!
