Our sweet Girl of Grace Addie has her dance recital on Saturday. I've mentioned before how much we have loved her dance company and her teachers. Saturday was one last chance to see all that Addie has learned over the last two years at dance. This year's theme was True Beauty Comes from the Heart. What a great message to teach to these little ones! Each dance represented an attribute displayed in a girl with God's true beauty. Addie's dances reprented being gentle, caring, gracious. She did a beautiful job, as did all the Girls of Grace!
After the recital came flowers, lots of hugs, cake balls, and tons of pictures!

Addie and Mrs. Mandy, who is also a dear friend of mine and a fellow coach's wife.

Mrs. Sarah and Addie. Mrs. Sarah is so kind and gentle-we just love her! Her husband works with Keri's mom-small world!

Addie, Alexandra, and Grace have been friends since we moved to the Hawk house. They have spent countless days together at church, dance, school and playdates. Their sweet moms have become wonderful friends to me!

These girls have been such great friends and so much fun! Love you Jennifer and Jana!

The girls passed out strawberry cake balls-they were delicious!

The girls received a medal after the recital. It's a gold circle with a heart that reads TRUE BEAUTY. All the girls were so proud of their medals!

Keri and Doak picked out some purple flowers for Miss Addie and she was so excited!

Nanna and Pop Pop came to see Miss Addie dance.

So happy to see Pop Pop!

Doak is the sweetest brother. He sat on my lap during the whole recital and kept asking, "is that Addie?" during every dance. He couldn't wait to go find Addie afterwards and give her the flowers. He kept saying, "great job Addie!"

I'm so proud of my sweet girl. (Keri pointed out that I wore this shirt to the dance recital last year-oops!)

Cookie was in town to help us with the move and see Addie's recital. Sadly, Papa was on call but we are going to have a special showing of the recital DVD when we see him next time.

Since we've moved this was Addie's last year to be in Girls of Grace. But I know the lessons she has learned go way past dance skills and we're so grateful! Our next adventure.....gymnastics!

Well just be happy that you are pregnant and can still wear that shirt like last year. Addie did a great job and looked beautiful. Tell Addis we miss her in Sunday School already. It was weird to be there without her this morning.
so cute - it is hard moving as a Coaches wife - we leave our friends behind and especially hard to see our kids leave their friends behind - but if we didn't move as much as we did - we would have never met those friends at all! Hope you are liking the new town!!
Addie looked beautiful! Too bad I wasn't there to see her dance...I am sorry again.
Little girls all dressed up for dance are the cutest! Doak is so sweet, looking for Addie & wanting to give her the flowers.
