We were thrilled to have Kristin, Leighton, and Mrs. Judy stop by for a visit right after we pulled into town. It was great to catch up and finally meet that sweet baby girl. The kids couldn't wait to hold Leighton!
Friday we got to go to Cookie's school to see her kids and play in her classroom. It was a special I Love America Day so Addie, Doak, and I wore red, white, and blue so we could join in on the festivities.
Addie was so excited to wear her "July" dress that Ma made her last year-it still fits Ma!
Friday night we enjoyed some play time with Cookie and Papa.
Saturday Cookie made us a yummy pancake breakfast! For some reason Addie wanted candles in her pancakes. Then she decided we should sing happy birthday because it was her blanket's birthday. She's so silly! Doak wanted us to sing happy birthday to his blankie too. Cookie even let the kids light the candles. They were so happy!
Sunday we woke up and got in the car to head back home. Papa followed us since Monday we'd be leaving on a big road trip!
