Last Wednesday the kids and I were running errands "in town". One high priority item on the list was a haircut for Doak. When we arrived at the kids' hair salon Addie said, "Oh it's the fancy haircut place!" I asked her if she wanted to get her hair trimmed and she said yes. (She usually fights over even an inch so I couldn't believe she was volunteering for a haircut!) I asked her again and had her show me how much she wanted cut off-it was easily 5 inches! I decided to let her go for it and I love the result. She looks like a 5 year old now!

so cute! M keeps asking for hers to about her ears, and i'm soooo scared to do it. i'm afraid she doesn't understand that once it's done, it's done! :0) then again, i could be projecting my own hair anxiety onto her. ha!
Oh she looks adorable! Tell her we miss her!
