birthday party and Mother's Day

The weekend of Mother's Day we were invited over to Amy and Bryan's for a big birthday bash for Makynna and to celebrate Mother's Day. We always love getting together with Keri's family and this trip was no exception! We stayed outside almost the whole weekend and the kids soaked up the sun while jumping on the trampoline, picking flowers, playing on the swingset and in the playhouse.

Happy birthday to this big 5 year old! We love you Makynna!

Keri gave Doak some t-ball lessons and he loved trying to hit the ball off the tee.

After a great day of playing outside and celebrating Makynna's birthday it was time for bed. The cousins had a good old fashioned sleepover and enjoyed stories with Nanna and Amy before bed.

Sunday the whole gang woke up and took Amy and me to Cracker Barrel for a delicious breakfast! We really enjoyed our weekend with family and I'm so glad to be Mommy to these two sweeties (and our little bean sprout too!)
