Last Friday we took a quick trip to Abilene to celebrate my birthday and Keri's birthday. It's always nice to go "home". There's something so calm and relaxing about being at my parents' house and each time we visit we feel so taken care of and loved. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Sweet Addie had a bit of a stomach bug while we were in Abilene,but snuggles with Daddy always make her feel better.
We did lots of hanging out (sleeping) by the fire
spent some quality time with Cookie and Papa
and bundled up to play outside for a while.It was a quick trip but I'm so glad we went! We drove back home Sunday afternoon, unloaded the car and greeted Jack and Dianna at our house. They came to stay with the kids while we continued the celebration with Chad and Christi. We went to Studio Movie Grill and saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and ate some great food! Thanks Chad and Christi for a fun night out!

did you love benjamin button? i didn't care if i saw it or not, but J wanted to, so we did and i loved it! being pregnant with a boy though, it sure did make me sad! it made me even more excited to meet this little boy and hold him and love him! it'll be so different than girls, i think, but i can't wait to experience it!

I forgot how close you and Ellena were on birthdays... I have the BIG group picture of all of you being dedicated at FBC. Cookie and Tahtee look so very young! Happy birthday sweet lady... and that picture of your little girl in her Daddy's arms... priceless!
