THIS JUST IN:
Hawks Swat the Yellowjackets 38-21

What a game . . . a cross town rivarly at it's best! This was the first year the two schools have played each other and I'll go ahead and say that there was probably more orange than red in the stadium. But the Hawks definitely dominated and it was felt good to beat those Yellowjackets!

Coach T and one of his receivers during the game.

Nanna, Pop Pop, and Uncle Mike came to the game to cheer on the Hawks,
love on the kids, and give me some more hands during the game!
Nanna and Pop Pop spent the night and stayed all day Saturday-what a treat!

Saturday morning Nanna and I took the kids out in the
backyard and played for an hour or so. The weather was perfect!

Nanna and Pop Pop took Addie for a long walk while Doak napped and I got ready for the day. Then we took Keri lunch and showed Nanna and Pop Pop the "hawk school".

Thanks for coming Nanna and Pop Pop-we all loved having you!

Saturday night Chad and Chisti came over and I cooked dinner. Last time they came over we had some major dinner malfunctions and ended up at Culver's. They must really love us because they came back over anyways! The kids always seem crazier when they are over and I fear that when they leave they look at each other and decide to wait a little bit longer to have kids! ;) We're glad they love us crazy kids and all!

Doak's hair had gotten so long and I decided that it had to be cut ASAP! You know I'm thrifty and since Keri has been cutting his own hair for years I decided we needed to learn to do Doak's ourself. So Saturday before bath time we set to work. Chad and Christi were awesome to be our photographers and helpers during the whole process.
hi Chad and Christi!

Doak did well during the haircut as long as I was holding him.

This is Chad's favorite picture!

I love the photo of Addie and Doak in a big hug outside in your backyard. Precious!

J cuts the girls' hair, so I'm right there with you! My favorite shot was the one where you're holding Doak on his tummy. I laughed out loud!

You gave me courage to cut Gunnar's hair! :) Thanks!

Have you seen the "Hawks MVP" shirts at Target??? I thought of you when I saw them. They are in the little boys section...I saw some 12 month ones here. I can grab one for you if you cant find one there! (They are green though)
