First off, thanks for all the prayers, emails, and phone calls!
Today was a pretty good day. Addie and Doak both slept all night which is a miracle! Addie awoke in good spirits and so did Doak. Addie had fever on and off all day, laid on the couch a lot, volunteered to take a nap, and had a pretty good day. Doak had a great day as usual but he was pretty fussy toward bedtime. I'm praying that it was related to tooth #8 that is breaking through. Addie put herself to bed at 8 and has been up about 10 or 15 times since. Her fever has gotten high again (104-105) and I think she's just uncomfortable. I just laid down with her to try to get her into deep sleep and I'm off to take a quick bath before she wakes again.
Keri took the morning off and it was such a blessing. He helped with the kids early this am and then when Doak went down for his nap Keri ran to the doctor to get a prescription for tamiflu and to CVS for a flu shot. When he got home he stayed with the kids while I ran to get my flu shot. So we're as covered as we can be!

So sorry to hear that! What a way to start the season. I'll be praying for your sweet family - for Addie's quick recovery and that you, Keri and Doak don't get the flu as well!!
Thanks for the update - we have been worried and praying about you all. So glad Keri was able to help you out - it is so much harder when you have two sick kids. We will continue to pray for you all!
oh gosh! too much action over there! i wish we lived closer.
Just saw Keri on the front page of the sports section. What a super star! :) I hope the kids are feeling better and that Mommy is hanging in there!
