adding insult to injury

Addie has had watery eyes and has been a little more whiney than usual since late Saturday night. I thought it was allergies because she had no other symptoms and no fever. Today at 3 she felt warm and I checked her temp and it was 101.3. I called the pediatrician ( who we just saw Friday ) and we ran up to Wylie for a 4pm appointment. She's got the Flu. Not good. Please pray for her, pray for us to have patience as we care for her and please, please pray for Doak. We planned to all get flu shots this Saturday, but Dr. Lanman told me today that he needed his asap so we got it while we were there. If he does get the flu there is nothing we can do since he's too young for Tamiflu. Keri and I are working on getting ourselves on Tamiflu so you can also pray that we can get a doctor to write us a prescription for that. Sweet Addie just fell asleep on the couch and she's so puny. Thanks for your prayers! We need them!

**I just did a little research and there is not enough research on tamiflu and the effects on nursing infants so I guess I'm not going to be taking it!
