Happy Halloween from Princess Addie
and Doak the football player!

Wednesday night we went to Trunk or Treat at our church.

They had a Cinderella carriage that made for a great photo op!

Doak enjoyed playing with his football and taking it all in!

We went for a hayride and both kids loved it!

Best of all, we got to see Daddy!

Hope everyone has a great Halloween! We'll be dressing up as Hawk fans and going to the game! 9 & 0 here we come!

our kids

The life of a coach and his family is one not understood by many. My favorite coach is one I'm proud to stand behind, cheer for, and work beside. I'm thrilled to haul the kids and all their gear across Texas every Friday night in the fall to be there for him. And I'm blessed that he wants us there. I love the way he searches the stands for us before every kick off, signing 'i love you' before he turns his attention to the field. I love watching him during games. I've seen him run the sidelines as his running back breaks for a touchdown. I've seen him embrace players who have just made big mistakes. I've seen him 'bump' guys that have made winning plays. I've seen him passionately discuss with other coaches. I've seen countless numbers of players come up to him after every game for a hug and a pat on the back. I've watched as young men from years past drive in from college to watch a game from the sidelines and see Coach T. And when I see all this, I know this crazy life we have is not just about winning games or going to the playoffs. It's about perseverance, integrity and character. And it's about the kids. My husband may not work at a church, but he is in the ministry and I'm proud to be the football coach's wife.
