Around noon we decided it was time to go, so Mom and Dad drove back to Abilene and we started back toward the big D. We stopped for lunch at Taco Bell and it was quite an eventful lunch. About the time my food arrived my clothes were dirtied so I changed in the car and then they were immediately dirtied again! (I don't want to go into the dirty details but let's just say that Doak was caused both wardrobe changes due to some leaky diapers!) After I was sufficiently cleaned up we stopped off to see our friends Karen and Shane in Belton. We got to see the birthday girl Bella and meet baby Gunnar. We had a great time visiting and letting the kids play. Thanks for having us Karen and Shane!
We got back to town Sunday night and were exhausted. We woke up Monday exhausted. But when Chad and Christi called and invited us over for swimming and a cookout we couldn't resist. Doak enjoyed his first swim. Check out how white he is. I think it's safe to say he's got my skin!

What a busy weekend- and I thought our weekend was busy. I don't know how you do it! And you look just great - I still can't get rid of this extra belly weight!
