breaking news:
Doak can sit up by himself! So far it's for 30ish seconds at a time, but he is getting better everyday. He also rolls over all the time. The way he does it is hysterical! I'll have to try to get it on video! Last Wednesday his first tooth poked through and today another one is showing! (No pictures of that-it's really hard to get a good picture of a tiny tooth!)

sitting up makes photo sessions so much easier!

Amen to that! I didn't even think about pictures being easier once Rosie can sit up for longer periods!
So adorable! I think when they start sitting up, it is easier to see their own individual features, too! I love Doak's sweet expressions. Does he have on a necklace? How cute!
I knew someone would ask about the necklace! :) It's an amber teething necklace. It isn't for chewing on though. Here's a blurb about amber teething necklaces:
Wearing baltic amber is a traditional European remedy for teething. Amber is a natural analgesic and when worn on the skin, it releases healing oils that helps babies and young children to stay calm and more relaxed thoughout teething. Amber necklaces are a great natural remedy and can eliminate the need for over the counter drugs.
It is also constructed in a way that it breaks easily if caught on something and each bead is knotted on each side so if it breaks the amber doesn't scatter.
I don't like giving lots of tylenol to my kiddos so I thought I'd try this. Just call me a hippie! Don't worry he doesn't sleep in it and only wears it when I'm in the room!
So fun that's he's sitting up! And this isn't the first time I recognize an article of clothing from our own drawers!! B actually just today wore the solid blue onesie with the baseball glove from that set if you got the entire 5-pack! Guess that would be the whole "sons of coaches" thing our boys have in common.
Too cute! Gunnar is
so close to sitting up! What fun that they are so close in everything...although Doak is younger he seems to be hitting all the milestones first! Such a cutie!
I love that 2nd pic! Too, too, too cute!
