Thursday evening we gave Doak his first taste of baby food.
First he tried some water in a straw cup. We didn't think he would be able to suck out of the straw but he got the hang of it right away. He really liked chewing on the straw and by the end of the evening he liked the water too.
Next came the first bite. . .he was intrigued. He kept leaning forward to get another bite.
Addie couldn't wait to help feed Doak. What a great sister!
We're not sure how much actually made in in his mouth, but he had fun trying it out. And I just have to share this cute picture of Addie. She's been playing with the balloons from our last day of school celebration. I found her in the laundry room, in a laundry basket with the balloons and Cat (yes we know that Cat is a dog!). She was telling Cat a story. Isn't she too cute?

M "helps" me feed Rosie, too, but she hasn't quite figured out that there is such a thing as TOO far to push the spoon in the baby's mouth! :0)
Too sweet. Bella likes to give Gunnar about 20 cheerios at the same time...minor choking hazard!
Yea Doak! You're such a big boy now! And Addie is an awesome big sister! We miss you guys and we can't wait until FCA camp!
doak is growing up so fast! he looked like he had fun with his first bites. he has the most beautiful eyes! And I LOVE that Addie's dog is named Cat. So sweet to find her telling him a story. Precious moments to treasure!
