these are a few

of my favorite things

my bathtub This is actually a picture of my tub in Little Elm, but the one at our new house is equally as big and luxurious! I take a hot bath every night. If it's 1am and I've just gotten in from a football game, I still take a long bath! I have to do it before I can go to sleep!

my new reusable microfiber cleaning cloths to go with my swiffer I got these on etsy. They scrub really well and you don't have to use much cleaner at all. They are washable and fabulous! (these work better if you have a little girl that can spray the Mr. Clean on the floor as you go!)

Chicken Express sweet tea I never had sweet tea until I met Keri. Now I get 1/2 sweet and 1/2 unsweet and it is SO good! There is a Chicken E right down the street from us and I usually go there every afternoon!

wet ones I always have these in my bag. I use them on Addie all the time, but I also use them for me-after I get gas, after I leave Wal Mart, after I change a diaper in the car, etc.

my ipod I realize that everyone has an ipod now, but Keri just gave me mine for Christmas and I love it. I actually got it a few weeks early, just in time for the labor and delivery of Mr. Doak. Listening to soft instrumental music got me through the first 12 hours of labor drug free! Now I listen while I workout at the gym and it sure does make running more enjoyable! I love to visit itunes for new music and I also listen to podcasts of sermons and Dave Ramsey.

timbuk2 bags Jeff and Ami introduced me to these bags. They are so sturdy and well made and have just the right amount of organizational pockets. I have two different bags. The one pictured here is carried daily by me and holds everything for our family comfortably. An added bonus-Keri doesn't mind holding my bag when I've got my hands full of kids. They do have some really cute girly fabrics and you can even design your own bag on their website!

Kashi Heart to Heart cereal I love this cereal and so does Addie. It is made with whole grains and tastes great too. I eat this most mornings with a sliced banana on top!

my new vacuum! I am so excited about my new vacuum-a Simplicity Symmetry. It works so well, is easy to push, and is built to last. Our last vacuum died just before we moved but honestly it hadn't been working for a while. I was thrilled to trade it in for a new vacuum in a sassy red color!

cherry fizz lip gloss from everyday minerals I love all my makeup from everyday minerals, but this lipgloss is perfect. It has just enough color to work for everyday but it doesn't look heavy like lipstick.

stay tuned for my favorite baby / kids things next!

How fun! I have a similar list brewing in my head that I've been collecting photos for.

I love Chicken E sweet tea too.

And J and I are the two people on the planet without ipods still. :0)

FUN things - I'm going to have to check out that bag and cereal. Once again you help make my life easier (and a little more fun) with your great ideas - I'm already looking forward to kid/baby products - is this going to make me want something that I can't afford? :) HA!

What a fun blog! I'm very curious about the microfiber cloths. I had given up on my Swiffer b/c I don't like buying refills and having to use something disposable. I must get more details from you! And the makeup looks awesome, too. Thanks for sharing!

There is NOTHING better than a nightly bath! (Well, yours is probably much better than mine since I have to take mine in a small 1980s gold tub!)
