Our little town has one park. It's a fun place to visit, but it's far enough that we have to drive there. Our neighborhood is supposed to have a community park but the whole time we have lived here it has just been an empty lot. Well, the HOA must be making some progress. We now have a fence, picnic tables, and a bench. The boys and I packed a picnic lunch and went to check it out. We enjoyed eating outside and Doak loved hunting for treasures (aka junk on the ground). I hope we soon have a playground, but for now we'll be thankful for a nice place to picnic.
