it's a perfect day

This week was our BYE week with no football game on Friday night. The kids and I enjoyed a quiet evening of playing outside, doing crafts, and a movie in my bed. Saturday morning we had to go to town to get the kids flu shots. While we were in town we decided to take advantage of the breezy, cool day and go to our favorite park.



This park has swings, 2 playgrounds, huge shade trees, dirt to dig in, sticks to pick up, and most importantly, a bathroom. That makes it the perfect place for a morning playtime.





Mr. Brock fell asleep in the car after his flu shot and snoozed in the stroller while the big kids hit the swings.





Doak explored the open spaces and found some sticks to bring home.



Addie spent her time climbing trees.



Brock woke up and happily joined in the fun. It was a perfect day!
