I love Saturdays! Last Saturday the weather was gorgeous. We played in the back yard for most of the morning. Addie found a dragon fly and wanted her picture taken with it.

Brock loves being outside and is always happy in the swing.

Doak is fearless and can most often be found on the top of the monkey bars when we're outside.

Nanna and Pop Pop refilled the sand box a few weeks ago and the kids have had the best time digging and playing in it.

Brock loves to watch his brother and sister playing.

Around 1pm I decided it was about time I shower and get dressed! I brought Brock to my bedroom and put him in the exersaucer while I got ready in my bathroom. Addie and Doak were right outside and talked to Brock through the open window to keep him entertained. Now that he's mobile he does not like being contained! After I dried my hair I heard happy squeals and laughter from the backyard. I knew something was going on.

And I was right. The kids were playing "mud tag". Oh were they messy! They hosed each other off and then I carried them inside for baths. I showed them how to work the washer and dryer and they washed their muddy clothes for me.

The best part of our weekend was definitely that Keri didn't have to work. He did spend part of the day interviewing 2 candidates for the pastor job at our church. When he came home it was time for bonding over college football. Brock sat with him and was content-he even started clapping! What a great Saturday.
