Doak, sweet boy, you are 3.5! What a joy you are to be around. You love your family and I love it when you tell me, "Mom, I love you more than anything, more than juice, more than cars, more than anything!" You are so sweet, gentle, and loving with Brock. I know you two will be such good friends! Playing with Addie is another one of your favorite things to do. Now that it's summer time I often find you joining Addie for a tea party in her room or inviting her to play cars with you in the playroom.
You wake up happy in the mornings, ready to play or asking for breakfast right away. You go 90 miles an hour through most of the day and you are all boy. You are learning so much and are becoming a good listener. You love to sit with Addie and look at books or read Bible stories with Daddy or me. You speak so well and sound much older than a 3 year old usually might. Over the past month we have worked on saying the /l/ sound and you now pronounce it correctly in most words. You love to count things, identify letters that you know, and tell me the beginning sound of words.
You love to imagine and dress up. You often tell me, "Mom, I'm Lightning, you be Chick Hicks" or "Mom, I'm a baby jaguar, pretend to be my mommy jaguar". You went through a big dinosaur phase a few months ago, but you are now back into cars. We are counting down the days until we go see Cars 2!
Doak you are strong, you are a leader, you are loving, generous, kind and fun. I love you and are so blessed to be your Mommy!
