a different kind of Friday night

Last Monday Addie and I were talking on the way home from school and she asked if we could decorate Keri's car and write "GO COYOTES" using special window markers. I had to remind her that we lost our playoff game and football season is over for us until next year. She looked at me in disbelief and said,

"Well what are we going to do on Friday nights now?"

I told her we would think of something fun to do! Keri and I originally thought about taking the kids to the movies. But after a long, tiring week with lots of driving and a few nights out past bedtime, we decided to rent a movie and have a movie night at home. We took early baths, gathered our blankets and pillows and piled on Mommy and Daddy's bed. The kids were extra cuddly and Keri and I loved having a special night with our two big kids!
