38 weeks!
2-3 weeks left until baby Brock arrives. We are so excited and I'm getting to the point physically of being ready to deliver this little boy! In the past few days sleep has been hard to come by and sitting still for more than a few minutes is not too fun. I'm definitely feeling more uncomfortable, but he's worth it all of course!
One sort of funny pregnancy symptom as of late is my lack of brains. I just read in my pregnancy update that research shows that brain cell volume does actually decrease in the third trimester, so at least I have a documented reason for my forgetfulness! In the past month I have been pulled over by the police 3 times (more times than in the past 10 years of driving), been called by Addie's school to let me know that they found my driver's license in the parking lot (didn't even notice it was missing!), and I spent 10 minutes yesterday morning trying to remember if I actually packed Doak's lunch or if I sent an empty lunch box with him to preschool. Ahh, the joys of pregnancy!
Well, the car seat is installed, the bag is packed and in the car, now we're just waiting on our baby boy!

So what in the world did you get pulled over 3 times for?
The girls are frequently asking questions about Brock, they are both excited to meet him as well.
Guess I should explain my police activity! #1 I was pulled over because my inspection was out. Knew it was out but we knew we had a major repair to do before it would pass. #2 (one day after I finally got it inspected) pulled over for for 35 in a 25 school zone-oops! #3 pulled over in Denison on the way back from our getaway with Keri's family. It was a speed trap on a hill : ( Only got a ticket for the 3rd pull over thank goodness! I am being so careful now!

You really do look amazing! I feel like my belly is as big as yours and I'm 8+ weeks behind. Good for you!! (PS-- I'm dying to hear the baby-due-in-football-playoff-time plan!)
Thanks Emily! The plan is that there's not really a plan! Surely I can make it through at least one playoff game right? Keri's head coach started freaking out last week and wanted to know who would call plays if Keri couldn't be there! He was convinced I was going to have the baby last week. All I know is that as long as Brock doesn't arrive on a Friday night between 6-midnight Keri will be there! I do have my parents coming in town this weekend so it's nice to have backup should I need it!
