WON 28-0

Thursday was our first time to see the team play at home. What fun we had! We sat with several coaches' wives and kids and also saw friends from church at the game. The kids kept busy by cheering, eating, wandering, eating, and eating! It seems like that's what keeps them occupied at games. We started out healthy with some peanuts and almonds and by the end of the game they'd each had a few suckers and a ring pop! Ah the life of a coach's kid.

Doak crossing "his football field" to get to the stands

Sweet, beautiful Addie couldn't wait to cheer Daddy's team on to victory

At one point I looked down and Doak was laying under the bleacher watching the game. He was so dirty, but hey, he was happy!
(As you can tell by the stadium and field, we're in a much smaller school this year. Our stadium last year was HUGE & brand new, as was Keri's school. But after experiencing one game in our new town, I'm totally appreciating life at a small school. While we loved our time as Hawks, this is a good change for our family and we know it's the beginning of a blessed year!)
