This year Addie came up with the idea to have an ice skating birthday party. She loved watching ice skating with me during the Olympics so I'm guessing that's where she got the idea! The thought of ice skating had never crossed my mind but I looked into it and was pleased to find out that booking a party at the Galleria was quite easy! We kept her party really small this year with just 2 friends and family and we all had a wonderful time!
While we waited for our guests to arrive the kids played on the ride on toys nearby.
Camryn, Makynna, Amy, and Bryan were first to arrive
Alexandra & her family and Grace & her family came all the way from the Hawk town. It was such a sweet time to be with these friends and watch the girls pick up where they left off.
Rylan, Hudson, Cody, and Ashley were ready to party with us. I think Rylan liked the cake balls-we looked up and he had 4 on his plate!

After cake and presents it was time to skate! Keri didn't want me to skate because he didn't want me and the baby to get hurt. So he had his hands full trying to keep Addie and Doak on their feet all by himself!

After an hour or so of skating the kids started getting tired and came off the ice to rest and play again on the ride on toys.

Mr. Doak wanted to keep on skating.....he had a great time!
Look at these precious friends....what a blessing they are!
I didn't get pictures of everyone that day, but had to share what I did get so we can always remember Addie's 5th birthday.
