*Happy Birthday* Addie!!!

Today our little girl turns

*FIVE*

Precious Addie is a little girl full of life and love! She has
brought so much joy into our family these last 5 years.

Addie has grown and changed quite a bit over the last year. But her interests and loves have remained the same. She loves to be outside and she LOVES flowers. A few weeks ago we took a Mommy/Daughter outing to the nursery to pick out plants for our yard. She got her hands dirty and helped me plant flowers in the flower bed and in pots. And she waters them daily! We're also growing some zinnias and sunflowers from seeds and she has loved the experience of watching them grow!

We've been playing outside a lot lately. We meet friends at a park or play in the front yard with neighbors. Addie is so kind and generous to share her toys and bike and loves having friends right next door!

Sweet Addie can be such a helpful girl. Lots of nights after dinner she wants to help me wash dishes or she will scrub the table while I clean the kitchen. She is also very independent and will get totally dressed, brush teeth, make bed, fix her hair by herself these days.

Addie has struggled a little bit adjusting to our new life here in our small town. But she has already made many new friends and is loving our new church. We're so thankful for all the good things God is blessing us with here!

Addie loves playing with Doak and the two are usually best buds, although they have their times when they clash just like most siblings! She is so excited about the new baby coming to our family and can't wait to find out if she'll have another brother or a new sister.

Addie, we love you so much and are so proud of how you are growing into a big girl! You are learning to read new words everyday and are doing your summer kindergarten homework each day. You are growing in grace and learning verses from the Bible that help you grow into the girl God wants you to be. Daddy and I are so honored to be your parents!
