It's still kind of a big deal in our house for the kids to watch a whole movie. So once every two weeks or so we find a new-to-us movie, spread some blankets on the living room floor, pop some popcorn, and enjoy some fun family time! This night we borrowed Toy Story from Pop Pop (we always borrow movies or check them out from the library) and the kids really liked it. Doak's pull ups have Toy Story characters so we decided he needed to know who they were!

That same day our friends Cody, Ashley, Rylan, and Hudson met us for dinner and then came back to our house to join our movie night. Addie watched the whole movie, but the boys quickly got distracted and had the best time playing with this ball popper!

My friend Sabina and I sometimes take care of each other's kids for doctor's appointments or errands and this week we have the privilege of keeping Bella and Sophia for a few hours.

The kids play so well together and Addie practiced her mothering skills with baby Sophia while I kept busy taking both two year olds to the potty!

We also had some fabulous fun this week with our nieces Camryn and Makynna. Keri and Amy's grandmother Mary passed away last week so they flew to Florida for the funeral. That meant that we got to host the girls for a party at our house! The kids had such fun together and we spent our days playing dress up, reading, playing at Chick Fil A and Lakepointe Church, staying up a little late and giggling in the dark (the girls, not me and Doak!). The reason for the visit was a somber one, but Grandma Mary lived a wonderful long life and I think the funeral was a real celebration of her wonderful life.
