RHHS vs. Carrollton Newman Smith High School
Lost 28-14
Well the Hawks lost their first district game Friday. They fought hard but lost to Newman Smith and it's no fun losing! Addie doesn't really understand how the Hawks could lose (especially after last year's awesome season) so she was quite concerned!
It was our first COLD game and we bundled up and brought blankets to keep warm. The kids met their sugar quota of the week with candy and I met mine with some hot chocolate! yum! This was the first game that we had no family or friends there for the kids to play with. Addie and Doak were both a little grumpy and needy during the game. They both wanted to sit in my lap and snuggle with me and of course they didn't want to share Mommy! So I spent the evening with one child on each knee trying to keep them warm and keep the peace!
After the game we drove to spend the night in Azle with Amy and Bryan, then headed to Abilene Saturday. We are looking forward to Homecoming this week! More posts to come soon!

Sorry for the loss - we lost ours too. And both the girls sound terrible from sitting out in the cold - so I'm getting a babysitter if I can find one this Friday. We had the exact same issue about both wanting Momma and not sharing - too funny to see a picture of it - I can't even imagine what I looked like - hope there are no pictures of me floating around -I'm sure I didn't have the nice pretty smile on my face that you have!! Hope you guys have a great homecoming!
