This past week I took Addie and Doak in for their well checks (4 year old and 18 month). Originally Keri had planned to come along and help but he ended up needing to work so I called on the greatest friend ever,
Ashley, to help! She met us at the pediatrician's office and helped me keep the kids entertained.
(I promise I can handle my kids on my own, but Addie had to get 4 shots and I knew it was not going to be pretty. I asked Ashley to come so she could take Doak out of the room so he wouldn't be scared when Addie got her shots!) The kids did really well. Doak didn't have to get shots and is just as healthy as can be. Addie knew the shots were coming but was still her friendly fun self with our favorite nurse and the doctor. She only cried a little and her tears dried up quickly when nurse Kellie got out the suckers and princess tatoos!
Doak26.9 lbs (50-75%)
33 1/2 inches (75-90%)
Doak had his toe pricked to check his blood for iron levels. They are a bit low so we're starting him on a vitamin and I'm going to work to get more meat in him!
Addie
34 1/4 lb (50%)
41 1/2 inches (75-90%)
She had her eyes checked the pediatrician recommended we take her to an eye doctor to do a more detailed check of her vision. Got that scheduled for next week. I can't imagine her in glasses, but I'm sure we can find some hot pink or purple ones that will suit her just fine if needed! We'll see!
These kids are growing so fast!

Great checks - I don't realize how big my girls are until I see other well checks - Beclynn weighed 32 1/2 lbs at 2 years! Yikes! Good thing Addie can out run her! :) And Maelynn was 46 lbs at 4 year well check. Luckily they are tall so it isn't as noticable until you pick them up - they are both sold!
