Pictured above is Doak's crib in the old house. It was Camryn and Makynna's and they let us borrow it for Doak. We love it and it was wonderful to not have to buy another crib.
This picture is how the crib looked on Friday night. Friday after nap I went in to get Doak and we played our usual peek-a-boo through the slats and one of the slats felt weak to me. I touched it again and it splintered in half! I promise we weren't doing any martial arts in the crib! Keri did a quick fix with duct tape for Friday night but we knew that couldn't be a permanent solution!
So Saturday afternoon we took the headboard off of Addie's bed. It's part of her convertible crib that she used as a baby. We still had the other pieces in the attic, so Keri did a quick switcheroo. It's funny to see Doak's bedding on Addie's crib, but we're so thankful we didn't have to buy a crib! And here are some pictures to remind myself the next time I'm feeling adventuresome that Doak's not quite ready to paint with big sissy yet.

We have lots of those pictures too - at least you were thinking a head and stripped him down. Beclynn is just now getting were she can sit and really color with Maelynn - painting is still always a mess! :)
Hilarious!
I am putting off introducing Annabelle to the colorful world of painting for as long as possible.
HILARIOUS about the mouth and hair part :) Too cute! Glad you kept the old crib too.

oh my word! that's so funny. looks like he had fun painting though.
haha, I see those pics and think - HOW did you clean that?! Glad you didn't have to buy a crib.
Ha Helen! I carried him at arm's length, told Addie to follow me without touching ANYTHING and threw them both in the tub!
