Friday night Cookie and Papa drove in to Rockwall for the weekend. Cookie stayed here with the kids and Papa and I drove to Texas Stadium for the Hawk game. The 9pm scheduled start time + the chilly weather + 2 sick kids = a good reason to stay home from the game! (Yes, two sick kids. Addie is now running a fever and we're thinking it's strep.) Cookie and Addie had a pajama party complete with cute pj's, new house shoes for A, popcorn, skittles, and a movie sent from Nanna and Pop Pop. They had a great party while Doak slept the night away in his room.
Dad and I got to the game at 8:40, kick off was set to be at 9:00 but we finally got started at 9:50. (the game before ours ran long) The first quarter was a little too close for my comfort, but in the end we won big! Way to go Hawks!
We got to go down on the field after the game and congratulate the Hawks which was so fun! We finally got to the car around 1:15am. Dad and I were starving so we stopped at IHOP on the way home for a yummy early breakfast. Needless to say we crashed once we got home! Thanks Dad for a fun date.
We play Ennis next Friday, November 28th, 12 noon @ Texas Stadium.

Agh! I love it!!! :) Shane and I were in San Antonio for the weekend and found it in the paper there!!! :) Go Hawks!!! Can't wait till Friday!
