Dear Sweet Doak,This month you have changed so much! You are eating baby food and you seem to enjoy it now. You also love cheerios, poofy-puffs (gerber puffs), and bits of banana and watermelon. You have four teeth now and you love to crunch into your food. Anytime you see your cup of water you get so excited. You are still our laid back boy and you have such a sweet spirit. One of my favorite things about you that started this month is how you kick your right leg non stop-while you're playing, sitting in the high chair, nursing, or being held-that leg is always moving! When you get excited about a toy or food you laugh the silliest laugh and tense up your whole body. It's hilarious and your big sister Addie loves to imitate you! Speaking of Addie-you two sure do love each other. She always makes you laugh and you love to watch her and you try to do everything she does. You are still scooting around on your tummy. We call it the frog crawl and you can move pretty quickly now. Mommy has to really watch you and you can often be found pulling down books and going for cords! You have learned to go from tummy to sitting up and every morning I find you sitting up in your crib waiting for me. You tried to pull up for the first time last week and I know it's only a matter of time before you are all over the place. These past 8 months have gone by so quickly. They have been filled with joy-I love to watch you grow and I can't wait to see who you grow up to be!

I can't believe how much he and Addie look a like - espeically in that first picture close up. I was looking at pictures of her when the girls where 1 and it looks almost the same - put a hair bow in his hair it would be hard to tell the difference!

He is SO precious! It's so much fun to read about a baby boy that is Casen's age!! Such a FUN age!
