August 1st-3rd we took a trip to Abilene for my 10 year high school reunion. Keri is a wonderful husband and I really appreciate him going with me. I think he even had fun!
We drove in late Friday night and made it to the first reunion event and got to catch up with some old friends. The kids stayed with Cookie and Papa and really enjoyed playing with them!
Mom and I are never in any pictures, so we made a special effort to be in some from this weekend.
Saturday we went to the family event-miniature golf. Addie had never been mini golfing before and she really enjoyed it. How can you not have fun when you get to pick your favorite color ball?

Keri and Addie played a few holes before we got hot and decided to cool off in the shade.
After mini golf we spent the afternoon in Cookie and Papa's backyard. Papa set up the baby pool, sprinkler, and even rigged up a slip and slide-Addie was thrilled!

Later in the afternoon we cooled off with a snow cone in the backyard.
That evening Keri and I went to dinner at Perini's. Yum. We really enjoyed seeing more friends and meeting husbands, wives, and finding out what everyone has been doing since high school.
Sunday we all planned to go to church with Cookie and Papa, but Doak was in desperate need of a nap so Addie went with C & P while Keri and I stayed home with Doak.

And I'm happy to say that we were reunited with Kylie last weekend too! She's been on 'vacation' at my parents' house since late May! We've missed her so much and the kids have loved having her back home with us.

Your hair looks so cute!! Our dogs our at my parents too - we really miss them. Chester had an allergy problem to Duncanville and is doing much better there they are 11 years old now - and we couldn't seperate them. I think it is harder on me - it was weeks before Maelynn even noticed.

I got Ava's dance gear at 5678 Dancewear in Southlake. But I've also heard of people going to Dallas Dance at Grapevine Mills Mall. And I saw a coupon for 15% off during the month of August at Kim-Lee Dance Wear in Hurst. And there are lots of discount dance stores online, but I needed to get Ava fitted for her tap & ballet shoes at the store b/c I had no idea!
