We finally started working on Doak's room this weekend! Keri and Addie put the crib together and we got our bedding delivered to us courtesy of some Abilene friends.
Cody 's mom June made the bedding and we love how it turned out! We wanted something football themed, but couldn't find anything we liked. We found finally found a vintage looking football sheet set from pottery barn kids, but it didn't come in crib bedding. So June came to the rescue and made a bumper, bedskirt, curtain, quilt and 2 pillow cases from a queen sheet set. The results are amazing!

We plan to paint the room a light khaki color sometime in the next few weeks. We also have some really cool decorative stuff to put in the room. As soon we found out we were having a boy Keri started scouring ebay for vintage football stuff and I must admit he found some awesome stuff. We also have some old pictures of my grandad (also a football coach!) and my grandma's uncle that we plan to put in the room.

That bedding turned out AMAZING!! Who knew a queen sized sheet could do all that?!? I'm gonna have to file that away for future reference. The room looks great.
Doak's room is going to be SO cute...all the bedding is great. I can't wait to see all of Keri's Ebay finds!
