a busy life

In the last few weeks things have gotten pretty busy for us, which is good. Addie loves being on the go and is going to be involved in some great activities this fall.

Friday she started Mother's Day Out. She loves to talk about her new school and it seems like she had a great day!
waiting in the carready to go to school!

Friday night we cheered the Colonels on to their first victory of the season! Yahoo!

Chad and Christi came to the game with us

Addie got to meet "the Colonel"
celebrating the win at about 11pm-it was a long night!

Cookie and Papa came in for the game and to spend the weekend with us. We had a great time, but didn't get many pictures!

Monday Addie and I started MOPS and I think it is going to be a great group for me. I've been blessed to be a part of this ministry for the past 3 years and I'm so thankful that I found a program at our new church.

Today Addie and I started our Tiny Tots and Tunes class at church. It's a music class like Gymboree or Kindermusik, but we learn worship songs in addition to playing instruments, dancing, and singing classic kid's songs. Addie was so giddy the whole time-dancing, singing, and laughing with the other kids. This is such a cool program.

And last, if there was ever any doubt that Addie can be the spitting image of Keri, here is some evidence. Keri is forever telling stories of him playing on their land when he was little, digging in dirt, building forts, and loving getting dirty. This afternoon we had a picnic lunch and played outside. While I was on the phone with Ami, Addie took advantage of the fact that I wasn't paying close attention to her. Her water table was full of rain water and she practically got all the way in, played in the mud and had a great time getting dirty!

please excuse the tall grass-we didn't get to mow this weekend due to the torrential downpour all weekend!

I'm starting my third year in MOPS too, and I love it! I'm on Steering this year--Publicity Chair. I'll be so sad when I "graduate" out...I'll have to keep having kids to stay in! haha

I blog-surfed into your blog because we have the same name. Read a few of your latest posts. My husband and I took Financial Peace, too. We're getting rid of debt! Good luck to you with the remainder of your pregnancy. Hope all goes well. The Sono pictures are adorable.

The picture of Addie on the front sleeping looks just like you Natalie! I knew you guys looked a lot a like - but she really looks like you with her hair down - too cute! Isn't it fun when they look like us! :)

I LOVE high school football! It is a little different with a little one this year. We didn't seem to make it to the end of the game last week. We'll see how it goes tonight! We have half day kindergarten still because we are growing so quickly, they don't have the room for full day. It's a crazy fast day, but perfect for me!
