Okay, so my mom is going to kill me for doing this but I have to! 2 summers ago part of a movie called Southland Tales was filmed in Abilene and my parents went to be extras. I guess the movie is finally about to come out and the trailer just made it to yahoomovies. Mom called last night to tell us she's in the trailer! It looks like a weird movie to me, but I'm sure I'll have to see it just to see who all is in it! So look for my mom at the very beginning. She's sitting in a lawn chair in a blue&white striped shirt and an uncle sam hat next to a lady in a red shirt. Abilenians-look for Larry & Christy Roberston (their son Dee had some part in making the movie and part of it was filmed at their house).

And I'm so going to see that one! I love quirky movies, and this one looks fun because of the mix of cast. I mean, how surreal is it to see so many big-name people mixed in with fun SNL cast members?! I've gotta go check it out!

The trailer does look a bit wierd. I want to see it though...we were there that night too with Life Group. They had us run down the road screaming and looking back like something was after us. Melanie was right in front of the camera, I believe she was pregnant with Beckham too! Good times!
