Brock's personality is starting to really shine through. This past month he has been so smiley, happy, and such a joy to be around. He really only gets fussy when he's hungry or tired. He's content to lay on a blanket and coo at me, Keri, the kids, or even the ceiling! He loves when Addie or Doak talk to him and he just "talks" right back to them, smiling and laughing. He is very vocal and there is nothing sweeter than to hear him coo and squeal! In the past few days Brock has started putting his fists in his mouth quite a bit. I'm interested to see if he can figure out how to suck on a thumb or finger or if he'll stick with the pacifier.
Sweet Brock is still a great sleeper-usually only waking once at night to nurse and going right back to sleep. He loves to be swaddled and has almost outgrown our favorite swaddle me blankets-we need to order some in the next size up! He's so easy to put to sleep-all we have to do is swaddle him, pop in the pacifier, sway with him and pat his bottom a few times and he is out! He usually sleeps for 45 minute stretches throughout the day and still nurses every 2 hours.
We think Brock grows more handsome by the day! We definitely see lots of Doak's features and bits of Addie too. But mostly he's his own little person-we can't wait to see who he grows up to become.
