Today it rained ALL day. We played inside and Keri and Addie watched a special rainy day movie on a pallet in the living room while I went to work out. Tonight we had a good home cooked meal and a dance party in the kitchen after dinner.
Addie won the clean plate award-this never happens.
Doak watched the dance party from his papasan chair.
Our dance party included "victor veto" and "we are the dinosaurs" by Laurie Berkner, "house party time" by Dan Zanes, and lots of favorites from the Veggies Tales.
It's a rainy, lazy day and you can tell from our comfy clothes. Addie spilled some hot chocolate on her shirt this afternoon. I went through 4 outfits today (jammies, sweaty workout clothes, lounge clothes after the gym that got spit up on, and the fabulous ensemble pictured above) and by the end I was in my lovely fleece pj pants and my trusty SOUTH FOOTBALL sweatshirt. What can I say-Keri is a stylish guy, but when it's time to relax he's not afraid to wear an 80's sweatsuit!

what a fun time! Nat, you must have cooked some really yummy dinner to inspire addie to clean her plate... and then everyone celebrates by dancing afterwards!

Looks like a perfectly relaxing day! I would love to stay in sweats all day...I think I'll try it soon! Tell Keri that I'll be sharing that picture of him with as many people as possible. Just kidding...but I will HAVE to show Ryan.
Yeah, I think I'm in trouble for the 'booty shakin' picture! But I told him I'd put up pictures of me looking grubby so we'd both be embarrassed!
The dancing must be contagious on Spring Break - Maelynn and Chris have been dancing all week too. Too funny! Makes us love them even more!
