a day at the museum

Saturday we loaded up the van and drove to the Children's Museum at Dallas' Museum of Nature and Science. Our friends Jessica and Emerson blogged about a trip there last week and we decided to take a family outing to check it out.

Addie the archaeologist

Daddy putting Addie in a bubble!

Mommy (and Doak) helping Addie blow a really big bubble

picking the crops at the 'farm'

Addie took off running when she saw these tractors!

Don't think we got out of there before Addie hit the dress up clothes.
We call this look "dancing butterfly goes to a birthday party"

FUN! FUN! I'll have to keep this in mind for when Anna is a little but older.

Looks like y'all have been having some fun! I just read about the snow, the wedding & the museum. Such cute pictures. Please give Keri PROPS for me - that bubble was impressive!

After reading your post, we will definitely check out the Children's Museum! I also loved the pics of you holding Doak in the sling. Addie has the cutest dresses. She must get her fashion sense from her momma!

we took elijah there last summer, and he had a ball! the farm and the water place were his favorite. it's awesome! austin has an incredible children's museum, too, if you're ever there.

i think addie looks a lot like you, nat! sounds like you've been having a blast!

What a fun place! Looks like Addie had a ball! Also, love how the 2nd child gets out to do cool things way sooner than the first child. :) Just bundle them up and go!

OK, so I'm REALLY far behind in reading your blog, and I just read the SNOW post! Can I just say that my heart skipped a beat when I saw the clip from "White Christmas"...the all time best Christmas movie EVER. My family sings that song every time it snows...in 4 part harmony might I add! :)

I think I'd be a "big kid" at that museum...looks really cool!
