Christmas part 2

Saturday morning we woke up and did Christmas just the four of us. We had a great time!

Saturday night Jeff, Ami, Kiran, and Ellery drove in and spent the night with us. We stayed up way to late talking but managed to leave the house by 8:45 to head to Abilene. I'm proud to say that it only took us 4 hours to get there! Ami and I drove together with Doak and Ellery and Jeff and Keri took the toddlers! We all enjoyed talking and catching up!

I'm so thankful that Addie and Doak got to see their great grandparents who drove in to Abilene for a visit. So we had a full house: my mom and dad, Jeff, Ami, Kiran, Ellery, Keri, me, Addie, Doak, two dogs and a partridge in a pear tree! (the grandparents stayed at hotels!)

Keri and Doak chilled on the couch during the crazy present opening time!

So, we've established the fact that Addie is into dressing up and princesses. Ma and Pa Ford found this flapper dress and Addie loves it! She wore it all day long! (She also woke up Christmas morning and wanted to wear her 'fancy' dress that she wore to the Christmas Eve service. So she wore that with her flapper dress over it for the entire day!)

Instead of doing presents for everyone, we decided (smart Ami's idea!) to plan an activity for all of us to do together. My activity was making sugar cookies.

Love the pictures, and the "table for 2!" How fun for Addie & Kiran to be so close in age.

When we work in the nursery at church, Addie wears the big poofy dress up skirt the whole time. That is a perfect Christmas present for her!
