bath time
We didn't get any pictures of Doak's first bath. Oops! He's definitely the second child! Good thing he is a boy, because I'm hoping he'll be a little less sentimental than a girl would be about things like baby books, pictures, etc. I should know better since I am a second child. I loved to look at my brother's baby book when I was little. I always asked to see my baby book and Mom wouldn't ever show it to me. I even thought I was adopted for a while which is ridiculous since I look just like my mom! It turns out that my baby book just wasn't finished. I understand why now Mom!

That's funny about the bath pics and the baby book for the 2nd child because I always tell my little bro that he's definitley the favorite. Maybe there's not as many pictures of him, but he gets plenty of attention for sure!
so far, i've equally neglected both of my daughters' memory books! i'm just paralyzed by perfectionism--i simply don't do any of it because i'm scared it won't be perfect!
I can smell the newborn freshly bathed smell through my computer! Love it.
