This is my 100th blog post! I've really enjoyed sharing our lives through this blog. When my friend Annalee hit 100 posts she gave a tour of her blog. I think I'll do the same!
blogging buddies
Amanda- We met in Life Group at BTBF. We shared 'life' for 2 years together before we moved. Amanda had baby Jackson this fall and joined our playgroup. So now we get to share life together as mommies-what a blessing!
Amy- We met in 1999 at Baylor. First she was my friend Christi's little sister. Then she became my friend and my lil sis in ZTA. Now she's my mommy friend-her little boy JG is the same age as Addie and her little girl Ava is 6 months old. Amy and her husband Jesse go to our church and are in our ABF (sunday school). Amy has a true servant's heart and is also a great garage saler and bargain shopper! What a great combo!
Annalee- We met in 1994 in freshman algebra and have been good friends ever since. She has such a sweet spirit and is a true friend. Annalee and her husband Evan just welcomed a little girl, Adelaide, into their family!
Anne- A sweet, encouraging, friend who always challenges me to be a better child of God, wife, and mother. We met in MOPS at BTBF, went through bible studies together and met weekly as accountability partners. She and her husband Jay have a heart for foreign missions and recently spent 6 months in China.
April- Another BTBF MOPS friend with a servant's heart. We got to know each other really well last spring through a small group bible study! April is a fabulous mom and a great friend. I miss you April!
Ashley- We both went to Baylor and majored in education. We met at BU and had some mutual friends but didn't really know each other. Fast forward 4 years . . . we got reintroduced when pregnant Ashley came to visit our MOPS group. We recognized each other right away and had so much fun getting to know each other. We love seeing Ashley and baby Anna at our Thursday playgroup.
Becca- We met at MOPS and became good friends while we were in small group bible study together. She's a great mommy to her son Reed and daughter Clare. Becca, you don't know this, but you're the one who inspired me to get a minivan! :)
Brittney- A longtime friend-we've know each other since at least preschool. We grew up together in church and both majored in education at Baylor. I love checking her blog to see how her sweet little boy Quinn is growing!
Cody, Ashley, and Rylan- This sweet family has become like family to us. Cody and Keri coached together at The Colony and we quickly realized that Cody is an AHS alum who graduated a few years before me. Ashley and I spent lots of time together during our two years at The Colony going to football games, family dinners, and helping each other through the lonely frustrating times when our husbands were gone from sun up to midnight! I can't explain what a blessing it is to have someone who truly understands the life of a coach's wife. We talk each other through at least one or two nervous breakdowns a season! Cody and Ashley are amazing parents to baby Rylan. We know Rylan and Doak will grow up best buddies and we can't wait for the day that Cody and Keri are coaching at the same school again!
Dee- Sweet, sweet friend from our Beltway lifegroup in Abilene. Dee's husband Jaska is in the Air Force and being around them gave me a true appreciation for military men and their wives. They are the proud parents of two sweet boys!
Felicia- She was Annalee's roomie at ACU and one summer when I was home from Baylor we got to hang out. What a sweet girl she is! She also student taught with my mom and is a wonderful teacher!
Gretchen- A new, sweet friend in our playgroup. She has a little boy Charlie who is adorable. I've loved getting to know Gretchen over lunch on Thursdays.
Jeff, Ami, Kiran, and Ellery- Let's see, I met Jeff in 1980 when I was born-ha! My big brother was so much fun to play with when we were little and I still love hanging out with him now. Jeff's wife Ami is just who I'd choose to be my sister. We've shared two pregnancies together and talk on the phone at least once a week. Kiran and Ellery are just about the cutest, smartest, funniest kids I know. What a joy to have family that you'd choose as friends!
Jen- My sweet roomie from Baylor. We met after pledging ZTA and Jen was influential in my growth as a Christian during my years at BU. We also served together on the steering committee of Stepping Out- the campus wide day of service at Baylor. She is a genuine friend, a great encourager, and is hilarious! We were thrilled to go to her wedding last November and to add her husband Rick to our list of new friends!
Jenny- I met Jenny in lifegroup at BTBF. After Jenny's daughter Jalyn was born we decided we needed to get out of the house and hang out-so we started our Thursday playgroup. We've talked each other through all sorts of parenting issues. Jenny is a wonderful mom and great friend.
Lauren- We were reintroduced at The Heights, but first met at AHS. I've loved getting to know Lauren, Zack, Cole, and Logan. Cole is Addie's age and they have so much fun playing together at music class and during church and MOPS.
Meredith- We met at Baylor-our sophomore year maybe?? Meredith was an ed major too and we bonded through Dr. Baker's curriculum class! We both did year long internships at an elementary school in Waco and got to become good friends. Meredith is now mommy to cutie pie Reid!
Reyna- She is married to Nick, who I've known since elementary school. We met after Keri and Nick went on a walk to Emmaus together-that's a bonding experience for those of you who haven't been on one! We were both pregnant at the time, now she's mommy to Maddie and Wyatt.
Rhonda- A friend from our newly marrieds class at BTBF. We learned about godly marriage together and enjoyed getting to know each other. We moved away, then they did too and we found each again through the blogging world! Rhonda has two beautiful little girls now.
Sarah- Another life-long friend. We've probably know each other since the church nursery. She is married to Ryan who was a friend of Keri's at HSU. Sarah is another amazing military wife and she and Ryan make us proud to be Americans!
Sarah Beth- I think we've know each other since preschool. We grew up together at church and grew up even more in college at Baylor! SB is the fun, trendy, quirky friend that everyone loves to hang out with! She's a teacher now and is a proud military girlfriend.
Sunni- We've know each other since the early nineties. Sunni and my bro Jeff went to high school together. She and her sisters Tiffani and Emili are so fun and they had the hang out house in high school. Sunni is mommy to a beautiful little girl Ava.
Thayer- We met 2 years ago and grew really close through MOPS. Her daughter Karis was born two weeks after Addie. They are wonderful playmates and Thayer is such fun to hang out with!
Tiffani- We've been friends since middle school and have shared lots of stages of life together-from the awkward teenage years to starting a new life in college. She was a wonderful roomie freshman year at Baylor. She is a newly wed and has two cute puppies.
Valerie- My first friend when we moved to Little Elm. We met at the post office. I had Addie in the baby bjorn and she was in front of me in line. We started talking and we figured out that we had both just moved to Little Elm, both our husbands were football coaches, we both had newborn baby girls, and we both knew no one! I'm so thankful for her friendship. We've moved away but we still keep in touch and try to get together every so often. She now has two beautiful little girls.

101 Reasons to Breastfeed- Ever since Addie was born I've been passionate about breastfeeding. I love to learn about how perfectly God made womens' bodies to nourish their babies. I love to help out my friends with information and support when their babies are born and sometimes I think about becoming a lactation consultant when A & D are older.
Bent Tree Bible Fellowship- Our old church in Carrollton that we miss so much! We learned so much about the body of Christ here. We left church every Sunday feeling challenged, encouraged, and eager to study God's word. BTBF's pastor Pete is a truly gifted teacher and I listen to him now through their weekly podcast.
Chera25 Photography- Chera is such a talented photographer and is so sweet too! I'll be posting our recent family pictures taken by her sometime this week!
Dave Ramsey- Life has changed since we found Dave Ramsey. Keri and I took Financial Peace University at Bent Tree and it helped us get on the same page with our finances. We've paid off all our consumer debt and are chipping away at our student loans plus we're setting goals for saving for the future and for our kids. Two years ago I actually got to meet Dave and was on Fox4 Good Day's morning show with him. It was pretty exciting! Hopefully someday soon we'll be calling in to Dave's show and screaming, "we're debt free!!".
Etsy- This site has the coolest hand crafted items for sale. I love browsing and getting ideas and once upon a time (when I used to have time!) I sold my bows in a store here.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes- Keri has served as an FCA huddle coach since he started teaching and coaching 5 years ago. This year since we live so close to the school, FCA has become more of a family affair. We are blessed to form real relationships with students through weekly meetings and seeing how many teenagers we can cram into our living room! This summer we worked the FCA camp at Baylor and loved it. FCA is a great organization that truly changes the lives of students and athletes.
Mothers of Preschoolers- As you can see from my list of blogging buddies, MOPS has been a great way to meet other moms and develop true friendships. It's also a great break from the kids and a fun time of fellowship.
The Heights- This church has been an answer to prayer. We hated to leave Bent Tree, but after we moved east the drive was just too much. The Heights is the perfect place for us now! We've joined an ABF that welcomed us with open arms. I'm in MOPS and Addie and I go to a weekly music class for toddlers and their mommies. We are so thankful for this church.

Thanks for your sweet words!
The "blog tour" thing is a good idea...I'm on post 112 now, and I haven't figured out what to do to celebrate! I was going to do the "100 things about me" post that I see periodically, but that's a lot of information to come up with! :0)
