Mustangs are 4-0!

Doak is living football lately and wants to play in the backyard most days. Friday afternoon he put on his pads and helmet (both vintage and part of his bedroom decor) and his new cleats from Kiran and was ready to tackle someone.

Yes, that little boy on the left is who Doak wants to tackle! In order to save my baby from harm I usually am the recipient of the tackles.

After a late start due to a seatbelt not working in the truck, we finally made it to the game a few minutes late. I love this little boy, but he is SUCH a handful during games. I brought bags of popcorn from home for the kids and that kept him busy for a while. Once that was gone we moved on to suckers.

And in the fourth quarter he just couldn't be contained any longer. So we packed up our stuff and I let the kids run under the bleachers and tried to watch the game out of the corner of my eye.

It was a really close game, very back and forth. After the game Keri had Addie, Doak, and Brock come and tell his receivers good job. They played so hard!

They love to run on the field!

It's all Brock can talk about, 'run on field, football game' sweet boy

Happy smiles! 4-0 feels good!

So happy for another win. Final score was 24-21
