Amy, Bryan, Camryn, and Makynna drove in late Friday night and Saturday we hung out around the house and the kids had the best time playing. Nanna and Pop Pop arrived Saturday evening in time for a yummy dinner out. We planned a trip to Galveston for Sunday morning. We love that the beach is only an hour away!

Keri found lots of hermit crabs as he and the big kids were out playing in the waves. He brought them up to the shore and Brock would just sit in the sand and watch the crabs crawl.

After a few hours at the beach, we were starving! We drove to another beach with public showers and got cleaned up before heading to Gaido's for lunch. Everyone (except the kids and me) enjoyed fresh seafood and got refueled for a trip on the ferry.
Doak couldn't believe we got to go on the big ferry! We passed by a cruise ship, another ferry, saw a sunken ship, and we even saw dolphins. This big boy loved it!

I wasn't feeling very well and I'm so thankful that Keri wore Brock. He was still able to see all the sights from the ferry, but wasn't in danger of escaping!
The seagulls were swarming looking for food on the boat. Pop Pop and the big kids fed these birds and had so much fun!
