A year and a half ago we started letting Addie and Doak sleep together on weekends. Typically they were a little wild and chatty and took a while to wind down and go to sleep so this special privilege was reserved for non school nights. But as Brock transitioned to his crib in the 'boys' room' sometimes it was easier to have Doak sleep with Addie so I knew the boys wouldn't disturb each other at night.
Addie and Doak eventually started going to bed very well when they were together.
And Doak especially started loving having someone to share a bed with.
So now, even though Doak has his own room here, he always sleeps with Addie in her bed.
I love that A and D are such good friends and want to be together. I'm enjoying these sweet moments while they last. I'm afraid someday soon Addie will decide she wants her room back to herself! So while it lasts I love kissing the two big kids goodnight and seeing how they are sleeping. Precious babies!
