finding out first grade

I will always remember August days of my childhood, going up to Austin Elementary and running from room to room looking for my name on a class list. It meant the start of a new year, new beginnings, old friends and new friends. I loved sharing that moment with Addie this year! Last year we didn't know any of the kindergarten teachers, and only knew a few kindergarten kids from church. So finding Addie's name on the list didn't mean much. But this year, Addie has so many friends, knows all the first grade teachers, and was anxious to find out where she would be spending her days.



We met up with Addie's BFF Haley and they searched the lists together



and then Addie found her name and Haley's on the same class list!



These girls are so excited to be in class together (with a lot of other sweet friends too!) Can't wait to see what first grade holds for these girls!
