Texas meets Oklahoma

Over President's Day weekend the kids and I hopped in the car with my parents and drove north to Oklahoma. It had been over a year since our last trip so it was a long overdue visit, plus we had to introduce our Oklahoma family to our little Brock!

Our first stop was to see Pa and Ma-my grandparents-Mom's parents.

The kids were all so excited to see Ma and Pa and we were so glad they got to love on Brock for a few days.

I love that my grandparents still get down and play with the kids-we are so blessed by their love and involvement in our lives!

My Aunt Mardi (my mom's sister) drove in from Tulsa. She is so fun, so full of joy, and is looking so beautiful and healthy after her kidney transplant this summer. She's a miracle for sure!

My Uncle Bill (mom's brother) and his wife Sheila came over for dinner. Bill had just completed a 100 MILE run and just 2 weeks ago he completed a 126.2 mile run. He is an inspiration and so fun!

The kids loved playing with Sheila. Bill and Sheila's son Tyler came by for dinner too. We just all had the best time together-I love our family!

Of course we all enjoyed some quality time with Papa

and Cookie too.

The next stop was to Grandma and Gramps' house.

Grandma made a delicious lunch for us and the kids had the best time playing and running around their backyard.

After spending the afternoon at the Browns it was time to head back to the Fords for dinner and our last night in OK. Pa got out his fire pit and the kids thought it was so cool to roast their hot dogs over the fire!

Ma read the kids some of her favorite books for their bedtime stories. We loved seeing our family and can't wait to go back soon!
