weekend getaway

This past weekend Keri's parents invited us all up to a resort at Lake Texoma for a little getaway. Addie and Doak arrived with Amy, Bryan, and the girls after Friday's game, I drove up Saturday morning, and Keri came up Saturday afternoon when he finished with work. We had such a fun time being together-playing, talking, being outside, doing crafts, and just enjoying each other! Here are some of my favorite pictures from the weekend.

Sweet Doak was so tired on Saturday. He actually fell asleep standing up leaning against a chair! That's a first for him. I snuggled with my sleeping boy for a while, then Keri took a turn.



Pop Pop always comes prepared with books, crafts, and good food!



The girls loved drawing and making pictures with stickers,



while Doak preferred hanging out in the sunshine and playing cars



Sunday we explored a nature preserve and then came back to the resort to spend some time outside playing at the park.

We're so blessed to have family close by! We loved our time together and are already planning our next getaway for this summer!
