Junior Dance Camp

We got a flyer in Addie's backpack a few weeks ago that the high school drill team was putting on a Junior Dance Camp on an upcoming Saturday. I thought Addie might enjoy it, but hadn't committed yet. That Friday night Addie and her friend Haley were talking with the drill team girls at the game and heard all about the dance camp from them. Haley and Addie ran over so excited to tell me and Miss Jennifer all about it. They knew the date, the time, the location, and even told us where we could email our registration. I knew then that Addie would have to go for sure. She was beyond herself she was so excited!

Last Saturday Addie and a few of her friends spent the morning learning a dance routine and then showed it off to the parents at the end of the camp.





Addie did great and once again proved how much she loves dancing! The girls will perform the dance at this week's home game. They also get to sit with the drill team girls for the first half of the game-that is Addie's dream come true! She brought home an "All About Me" book a few weeks ago that had info about her and she colored a picture on each page. One page said, "When I grow up . . . I want to be a drill team girl!"
