We enjoyed our Fourth of July weekend and spent it with family and friends. On Saturday, July 3rd, Chad, Christi, and baby Cooper came over for dinner. This was their first time to our new house and we loved having them here. The kids love Coop, and since Chad and Christi are like family, it was a nice, relaxing evening!
Addie, Doak, Chad, and Keri sat outside and enjoyed the cool rain shower.
while Christi and I stayed inside, spent some time chatting, and I got some sweet love from Cooper!
Practicing for November! We're so excited that Cooper and our baby boy will be so close in age.

Sunday morning we went to church and then came home for lunch and naps. (we've found a wonderful church by the way-what a blessing!) After naps we enjoyed homemade berry popsicles and made some red, white, and blue sugar cookies. Then we ran a few errands in town and had a yummy dinner at Fuddruckers.

The fireworks in our small town were shot off from a park right next to Keri's school so we took our chairs and picnic blanket to the football field. We were the only ones on the field and I must say that the private showing was very nice.
Keri and the kids had the best time running around the field and playing and we all loved having front row seats for the fireworks! What a great holiday weekend!
