These kids are quite the little bakers. A few times a week they help me make pancakes and muffins and we decided it was time to make some sugar cookies!
They helped roll the dough, sprinkle the flour, used cookie cutters to make their cookies, and did lots of taste testing.
Addie is really into butterflies lately so she made some of her cookies in the shape of her favorite insect. She also made flowers and hand shaped cookies.
Doak chose a sheep cookie cutter and Addie helped as he pushed down to create each cookie.
This little stinker kept eating the dough! I would say, "that's it Doak, no more!" and he would say, "I just have one more bite!" (I have a hilarious video of our conversation but I can't get it to upload right now.)
Alright the cookies are done so let's decorate!
Addie picked a flower cookie and placed her decorations very carefully.

What a good mommy! I tried getting my boys to help me bake before but they didn't want to. Maybe I should try again with Ashlyn. Looks yummy!
